Music = is a new music organization directed by Inhyun Kim and Matthew Hough. Our mission is to give voice to new and lesser-known works, particularly those incorporating extramusical elements such as video, poetry, dance or theater. By breaking down the boundaries between music, art, and social/political issues, Music = aims to redefine what music can be, and what it can do. We are currently awaiting recognition as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Music = was created in 2007 by composers Inhyun Kim and Matthew Hough. As of 2010, Music = has produced numerous concerts in music halls, galleries and alternative performance spaces in and around New York City.
